What?

I'm still scratching my head on this one.
ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) -- A day after his predecessor's sex scandal propelled him into office, Gov. David Paterson revealed Tuesday that he had affairs with a "number of women," including a state employee, WHAT? but said that does not affect his ability to lead. WHAT? Paterson had admitted one affair in a newspaper interview hours after taking office Monday, WHAT? but gave a fuller accounting at a news conference with his wife at his side.WHAT? "Several years ago, there were a number of women," WHAT? Paterson said. "The public wants to know who its elected officials are and sometimes, even though you are human, and you are someone who just has feelings and has faults, there comes a time, perhaps, when you have to tell the public." WHAT? He and his wife, Michelle Paige Paterson, said they both had affairs WHAT? during a time when their marriage was headed toward divorce. But they admitted the infidelity, sought counseling and said they have built a stronger marriage and family. What is this? A sick badge of honor?

We elect these people for their judgment. When they show poor judgment - especially "blackmailable" poor judgment, they should not be allowed to continue in the office they were elected to. These are the people we look to in times of natural disasters and national emergencies, and time after time, they exhibit their lack of common sense and moral authority. This has got to stop. However, if it's going to happen anywhere, then New York is as good a place as any. (Could that be why the Clintons migrated there?)

I agree - SAY WHAT!

To Rick: Clintons went there cause they got disbarred and kicked out of Arkansas. They do seem to be a natural fit in NY now that all this has happened
