Gustav Heading For New Orleans


President Bush and his dad are getting ready to return to their favorite fishing hole for another big fishing trip!

It looks like "Gustav" may actually hit New Orleans unlike "Katrina" which actually MISSED New Orleans and slammed into Mississippi. The Mississippi residents handled much worse situations (total destruction, not just flooding) than occurred in New Orleans where the levees (and local government) failed. It will be interesting to see what happens this time. Watching the news, it looks like New Orleans is the only place the hurricane might hit. Wonder what they're doing in Mississippi and Texas right now . . .

Striped bass in Nawlins - love it!

They're actually loading up all the residents in Greyound buses and taking them north. For real. For free. No SuperDome this time.

I guess we may be able to catch a bus out on US 41 next time....

Yeah Ted. I mentioned to Mary that I don't remember any buses packing up people in Florida. I wonder if they're putting them up in free hotel rooms too. It seems like Mayor Ray Nagin is on his game this time.
