Everybody Loves A Parade (Most of the time)

Gay Pride banners went up on Lexington's Main Street for the first time Friday, a prelude to downtown's first public celebration of Lexington's gay community. Is it really necessary to throw a parade to tout your sexuality? Doesn't that tend to hurt your cause? I'm sure the streets will be lined with adoring kids for this one.

Geez, I never thought I'd see a sign like that in Lexington, Ky.

Since Lexington is a university town it's considered "progressive" because of the so-called "academias" That's why you see so many Obama yard signs. He's progressive you know. Not liberal; progressive.

Just passed a "Bay Pride" BILLBOARD. Took me a little bit to figure out the photo of guy/gal(?) but then saw the rainbow...this was in redneck farm/ranch territory, definitely won't be a parade down this part of US 41
