Bush makes good on promise to visit 8-year-old Lexington girl

Annie Toffey received the thrill of a lifetime this week when she got a visit from her favorite president: former President George W. Bush. Bush joked around with Annie, 8, during his stay at Spendthrift Farm in Lexington. He was nicer than she thought he'd be, she said. "It was awesome." Bush's visit to Kentucky was his first trip out of Texas and his first flight on something other than Air Force One since he left office, said Annie's dad, Ned Toffey. He arrived in Lexington on Tuesday afternoon and REST OF STORY

Haha... did you read the 2nd comment after the story?
"We need to be warned when Bush and Gillispie are in the same city!! This combination could create the perfect storm -- a previously-unseen vortex of bad leadership that could kill us all!!!!!"
Of course, a Kentuckian would find a way to throw Billy Gillespie in there.

And of course the liberals use a wonderful example of caring leadership to bash Bush again in the "Comments" section. Unbelievable. I suppose we conservatives should use every mention of Clinton to remind the American people of how he embarrassed us all with his unmentionable behavior IN THE OVAL OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! Geez . . .

And the recession he left for the Bush Administration to fix. Which by the way, he did very nicely, despite the worst attack on this nation's homeland in history. Hey liberal, can you spell 8 years of economic growth and a deficit less than half of that proposed by the Current Occupant? Grrrrr. .. . .
