Kiosk Harassment

I made a trip to the mall today and it felt like I was at the county fair. I had at least four employees at various kiosks yell at me when I was walking by wanting me to come over and hear their pitch. You think the least they could do is offer a chance to win a teddy bear. Leave me alone. I want to walk through the mall in peace. OK?

Agreed. If I wanted to look at your crap, I would walk over to your "store" and look at it, just like every other store in the mall. Sears isn't dispatching its employees to come hunt me down as I try to find a pair of jeans.

I kind of like it when the pretty girl from Israel calls me over to try their skin products to give to that "special someone" in my life. Then I ask them if it works for cats.

Reminds me of a photographer friend of mine that had this great idea of setting up a display in the mall showing his beach portraits, etc. I thought it sounded like a good idea till I ran into him later and asked him how it went. He said the pictures that weren't stolen were defaced or "tagged". I guess that falls into the "What were you thinking..." category
