I think people who put money on Eight Belles should have a message like this:
"Dear Eight Belles, Thanks for breaking both of your ankles and losing. You made me look like a moron in front of my friends..and because I gambled so much of my money on you winning, I now have to take out a second mortgage. Thanks for ruining my life Eight Belles."

They are actually after KY Fried Chicken who is owned by Yum Inc. the major sponsor of the Derby.
Every fall, thousands of hunting dogs run themselves to death doing what they were bred for and love to do. That's exactly what happened to Eight Belles. We should all be so lucky to die doing what we love to do.

I saw where PETA has jumped on the bandwagon for animal cruelty and a NY Times writer likened it to dog fighting! Unbelievable!!!
