Question?

I have noticed that KFC uses a black family in their commercials. Is that racist?

Can one even respond to this question without putting one's own neck on the chopping block?

My guess is that KFC has targeted a demographic in the viewing area of the commercial you saw. Sounds like wise marketing, not racism.

Is Taco Bell racist for their "Yo quiero Taco Bell" campaign?

I like your boldness. The fact you're hesitant to respond makes my point. And the fact I think it's bold makes my point. If you or I made a reference to black people and fried chicken in the same sentence....many (black and white) would consider us racist. Yet, KFC can run TV commercials about fried chicken without any whites in their commercials. Maybe some do consider that racist. Frankly, I think the commercial is racist toward whites. I LOVE fried chicken! The super hyper sensitivity about racism is not helping the cause.
