I heard a report on the ABC Evening News tonight that we have twice the amount of retail stores in this country than we need. I believe it. I think we only need 3 stores in every city; Wal-Mart, Lowes and Ashley Furniture. That's it. That's all we need. If those three merged into one store than we would only need 1 store. Think of all the green space that would open up. Agree or disagree?

I'm not sure how many stores we "need," but I think most ladies would prefer to wear clothing not bought at any of those stores.
They're putting in a new Lowe's on
Dorchester. Ugh. Just what we need...more cars on Dorchester.
i move to add macy's and starbucks.
5 stores still ain't bad.
Can you buy groceries at Walmart? I can't remember. Otherwise, it's hunting and gathering time with just those 3 stores out there.
Rick - yes - you can buy groceries at WalMart. You should start couponing.
that sounds like communism to me. i like the varied choices. give me options, thats what freedom is about.
