In Kentucky's 93-69 rout of Appalachian State on Saturday, another chapter of lore was written when junior guard Jodie Meeks erupted for 46 points. He made 14-of-21 field goals, including nine three-pointers, and hit 9-of-10 free throws.
"On fire," UK coach Billy Gillispie said simply. "I've never had a guy score that many points for one of my teams. It was an unbelievable performance."
