Photo taken in Nov 1988 at our house on Hifner Rd in Versailles. It was his 65th birthday. We celebrated birthdays and holidays together and he did so much for us. He was my friend, the father Mary never had and the grandfather that my kids never had. You will forever be a part of our family.

It was an honor to be able to go to his funeral and honor Papaw's life.
He was an example for everyone who knew him.
By the way, I love this picture.
This picture is awesome... definitely brought tears to my eyes. What an amazing man and filled such a hole in our lives.
I loved the way in which he found joy in the simple things of life, and then shared it.
Sooo many memories. I will remember him forever and am thankful for all he did for us. I miss you, Papaw!
