I have to agree. Bruce Pearl really? It is one thing to rebound from horrendous pre-conference schedule to be in talks for the tourney. But Pearl has just caught lighting in a bottle, goodbye Lofton and JuJan Smith and Hello SEC cellar, where UT belongs! I hope he takes that ugly, orange excuse for a blazer with him.

Calathes won SEC Freshman of the year, so this another Gator season that won't end without some kind of hardware.

Don't forget that Patterson shared that award with Calathes.

Calathes almost single handily beat KY in the overtime the first game of this year and I thought he might do it to us in the last 2 minutes of the game on Sunday. If Patterson had to share the award I think Calathes was deserving. He's a force to be reckoned with.

In all seriousness do you think Patterson is one and done or has he said he will be around for awhile?

Patterson will definitely be back next year. I think his recent injury actually helps guarantee that. He will want to come back and really show what he can do. Plus he and his parents as well Coach G have alluded to him being back.

Pearl has my vote for Best Dressed.

Patterson says he's "here to stay." He will most certainly be back next year, and I would even say probably the year after. His mom wants him to stay all 4. They're not hurting for money, so it's possible that he ends up staying at least 3 years.
