Having ridden in New York cabs many times, I know what surprises the cab riders more than even the lights, bells, and whistles is that the driver is an American who speaks English. It's a funny show.
Wow...that is quite ironic. I saw that it was on today and called your cell phone and the home phone but got no answer. That's pretty funny that a blog post about Cash Cab shows up the same day.
I've still only seen the show once all the way through (when I was in Lexington), but I like it a lot.
Also, I don't see how the guy memorizes all the questions...I'm assuming he memorizes them and doesn't read them off some secret teleprompter or something.
I think there is a prompter because when a contestant does a mobile shout out, they repeat the question word for word and it appears to me they are looking at something that shows them the question.
