Why Is Gas Going Up? I Thought It Was Bush And His Oil Buddies' Fault

NEW YORK, June 6 (UPI) -- U.S. gasoline prices have increased more than 27 percent in the past seven and a half weeks, a study shows. The motorist group AAA said the average cost of a gallon of regular gasoline rose 1.4 cents Saturday to $2.606, CNN reported. AAA said the climb marks the thirty-ninth consecutive daily increase in the price of gas.

Oh you know, those pesky speculators are at it again. Geez, I wonder what the price would be if offshore and ANWR exploration had not been curtailed by the Obama Administration.

Retrieving our own resources sure lost momentum since Nov. This administration wants those high fuel prices back - and has said so - to push the green agenda. Why don't we develop something that actually works before killing the economy? They were hailing this electric car that goes 40 miles on a charge. Heck, I could almost make it to a Bucs game before having to park it on the Howard-Frankland bridge.....
