Bob Carter Is Someone You'll Never See Interviewed....(CLICK HERE For Others)

(Warm Fuzzy Pictures Help Me Make My Point)

Professor Bob Carter of the Marine Geophysical Laboratory at James Cook University, in Australia gives what, for many Canadians, is a surprising assessment: "Gore's circumstantial arguments are so weak that they are pathetic. It is simply incredible that they, and his film, are commanding public attention."
But surely Carter is merely part of what most people regard as a tiny cadre of "climate change skeptics" who disagree with the "vast majority of scientists" Gore cites?
No; Carter is one of hundreds of highly qualified non-governmental, non-industry, non-lobby group climate experts who contest the hypothesis that human emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2) are causing significant global climate change. "Climate experts" is the operative term here. Why? Because what Gore's "majority of scientists" think is immaterial when only a very small fraction of them actually work in the climate field.

Had an uncivil conversation with a global warming disciple the other day. He informed he had studied the problem for over 10 years and was convinced that the human race was responsible for global warming. I said, "Great! You must be an expert. Maybe you could answer some of my questions." He said, "Sure." I asked him what the average temperature of the earth was. He said, "Since when?". I said since the beginning. No answer. Then I asked him the same question about the sun. Same answer. I asked him if he could explain the "hockey stick" (a graph of the temperature rise over the last 150 years). Wasn't familiar with it. I asked him if he knew what growing glaciers do when they contact water (they "calve" - same as shrinking glaciers) I also asked him that if we are experiencing global warming, is it necessarily a bad thing? He finally had it. Swore. Told me to quit coming up with all "that Limbaugh BS".
I laughed and said thanks for all the good info.

Nice piece of work Rick! I wish more people were informed. I'll try to remember those questions.
