When you cheer, do you cheer for the horse by name or number? Obviously, I've never been to a horse race before.
If it's an easy and fun name, you root for the name of the horse. Usually I just yell the number. Either will work just fine.
I just say, "come on, big money." It should be noted that I won $22, which equaled the $22 I lost in the previous 3 races, to break even. We are high rollers.
